You should include the caveats to this in your original response to me. When I said the speed vector was crashing the floor, to most pilots, that would mean that theres no excess airspeed to bleed off.

Your shop is wise, because airline pilots have found themselves needing power near the ground with engines unspooled. Power-off energy management in jets works most of the time, but occasionally leads to an accident.

I know we can't handfly in RVSM airspace- I'm searching but can't find the verbiage in the GOM.... Anybody know the page??
