Truth is, a no vote will send this back to mediation. It's up to the company to determine what the next course of action is. I can assure you, there are additional steps that the company can take before we forfeit on our contracts.

This is simply an offer. We can turn it down and rework the deal. No one os losing their job if we say no.
The performance section United contract will cause the return of the 175 by year end. The timing to redo this is not available you will be furloughed the options are few, yours it not possible

It's not a scare tactic, the United contract has a performance section that removes the 175 based on mesa staffing their flying. Time is up in December if this contract not voted. There will be down grades and furloughs. This is not the time to try for your ideals that should have been done 6 months ago when this was made. Vote yes and LEAVE !

How does a crappy contract dig us out of thia hole? It doesn't, that's the answer. If management wants to attempt to staff they can do so with new hire and retention bonuses. This TA is not attractive, thus does not attract talent. Your point is invalid.

As for performance. Unless you are in management, you have no idea what our contract says, where we stand, or what our condition is. Again, your point is invalid.

If you want this place to be around you should vote NO for this contract so we can negotiate one that not only retains but attracts talent.

I don't get this logic of "vote yes and leave." We need pilots to stay here for goodness sake.

All more reason to vote no. Right now JO has more incentive than we do to get a contract. A contract means continued operation and the money keeps flowing.

There is not a single line pilot at Mesa privy to the details of the United CPA--any upper management who have seen it are bound by an a NDA to not discuss any details, including mythical "performance clauses."

You're making stuff up out of thin air.

Also, under the existing merger/successorship language, your pilot group is pretty well protected--anyone affecfed by any theoretical transfer of those jets would probably end up in a much better place.

Your theory naively presumes that United can just snap their fingers and move multi-million dollar assets around from one certificate to another on a whim--that's absurd!!!!! United is not going to just yank 30 E175s overnight in the middle of peak travel season (December, you said), triggering MAG ALPA's asset transfer language, and sit on them while trying to find another regional who can staff, inspect, accept, and bring them online like yesterday--all in the middle of peak travel season.

Like say "March 2018" or make up a more believable fake estimate for your fake theory

I broke my training contract and left Mesa about 17 months ago. A month after I left I received a letter stating I owed them $2,500 for the training bond. After that email I heard nothing. A few days ago a process server showed up at my old residence, and my old roommate stated I didn't live there anymore. I'm not sure if it was related to Mesa, but they're about the only company that would file a lawsuit against me using that address. Is Mesa now actively pursuing pilots who broke the training bond?
