I talked to an FO yesterday that was hired June 2015 and it was his last day. Going to GoJet.
I guess I haven't noticed how often the seniority list is updated. But, it seems overdue. I wonder if the delay in updating it is intentional. I see pilots on the list that I know are gone.

They used to update several times a month but about 3 months ago they only update it just before PBS bidding.

I've been here just under 2 years and I've moved up 404 numbers. I have no idea how many have left that are junior to me.

Ok. So, it should be updated this week.

If they are default judgements all that means is no one contested the suit. Plaintiff wins by default. How has Mesa fared when an employee has been the plaintiff? Was that discussed at the pub?

He lost. That was the discussion. Pilot lived in Texas. He lost.

So life goes on. A judgement is placed big deal. That's when the real negotiation begins. Give them a take it or level it offer. They will take because they know something is better then nothing.

It's usually updated around the 13th, so this month's update isn't there yet.

Since Mesa is supposedly expanding the fleet, the seniority list is definitely going in the wrong direction.

2016
June - 1298
Sept -1267
October - 1258
November - 1231
2017
January - 1218
February - 1202
March - 1186
April - 1190
May - 1188
June - 1167

The seniority list is shrinking, with new A/C deliveries starting.

Yes.

And it is part of the reason people are leaving Mesa rather than upgrade.

An FO can go to another airline as an FO, even another regional, and make double the money (or more) than they make at Mesa. In most instances they will make more as a first year FO than they will make as a Mesa Capt. So it doesn't make sense to sign the training contract.

Word is out that Mesa is enforcing the training contract. So, FO's are just leaving rather than upgrade.

Do you have the split between CA and FO over this period? I would think the training contract for CA's will have to be eliminated as well.

The last I checked we have taken delivery of 4 of the 12 EJets. You can't staff those planes with fewer pilots. We are already stretched.
