I wonder how the bonuses will be adjusted for the pilots still in training who were offered the $30000.
If you accepted the offer prior to 12 Jul and start training before 31 Aug, nothing changes.

22k after IOE. The other $20k is only if you remain a FO 3 years out. Given upgrades here, the other $20k is an empty promise unless the economy goes south.

I suspect the signing bonus will creep back up to $30k when they realize they aren't recruiting enough pilots into IAH.

I am talking about the initial bonus payment after IOE. It was $30000 for ejet trainees, now down to $5000 for either aircraft.

Where are you getting your info? The website says $22k for either aircraft.

I don't think you needed to worry about beating a flood headed our way. But, if after considering all the pros & cons of the others as well you still determined Mesa to be the best fit for you ... then so be it and let me be the first to say welcome.

Wow. Obviously they've made it much tougher to get hired here. And I heard the SkyWest interview was rough. Making you say hi on skype? OMG! Those savages in recruiting!

Make sure you know how to spell your name and you'll be just fine.

I accepted a class date of August 9th for the Ejet and was told that since I signed the acceptance form prior to the TA vote and will be attending training prior to August 31 I am still qualified for the $30K Ejet Bonus.
I am looking for feedback from any IAH based pilots regarding the feasibility of commuting to IAH from Sacramento once I hold a line. Also, I'm returning to a flying career after a long hiatus so would appreciate any feedback from any pilot currently in training or that has recently completed Ejet training in a similar situation. Thanks for your time!
