You gotta be kidding me man. You don't even work here. The Mesa contract is a balance between remaining employed so we can move on and burning it down and moving on to other regionals. Probably could have balanced a little more in the other direction, in my opinion, but Mesa is still Mesa. Easy to rip on regional pilots from your Delta cockpit. Do you bash corporate pilots for making less too? You do realize that we're an FFD carrier, right? It's a totally different business. LOAs put some of the other regional wages above ours at the moment, but the core contracts aren't all that different. Either way, just because it operates like a mainline carrier doesn't mean it is. A lot of people had to think hard about bills, families, homes, etc. when they voted on this, and pass or fail, they'll probably get screwed over either way. We're just people trying to get by dude. I'll be sure to PM you when Mesa fails so you can come back and shurt on us for being unemployed.

And all these Mesa pilots talking "unity" who are now slamming the whole pilot group because of the result? WTF!?

I guess mesa pilots are just happy to be working. Otherwise why would you even go there, or better yet why would you think you're worth more.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Every other non wholly owned carrier has a substantially better contract. Ever heard of these things called work rules? It these things that make you a lot more money that don't require extra work. Mesa pilots decided they didn't need any. Mesa is behind on everything but fo rates now and that changes in 2 years.

Yeah, everybody I talked to in IAD was supposedly a NO too. Was hoping to go another round instead of giving up

Textbook example of Stockholm Syndrome. What are the Spirit, Frontier, and Atlas pilot groups going to think about Mesa people now? You just hurt their own bargaining.

No... Spirit and Mesa have nothing in common other than our mismatched airplane pieces. I fail to see how a FFD contract is going to have any affect on a "National," "Major," whatever you want to call us, airline that sells their own tickets.

I'm only following the Mesa TA out of morbid curiosity, but I can assure you that while NK might be the Mesa of career destinations, (if you can call us that,) our MEC is working tirelessly to raise our contract to "Industry Standard." And our management has only themselves to blame. No Stockholm Syndrome here.

I can't believe you guys voted that in. Are you aware how bad your health insurance plan is? I hope all the no voters walk out.

Thanks for lowering the bar for the rest of the industry. I used to think the Mesa pilot group was good. 58% of you guys proved me wrong. NDFH
