If your questions weren't targeted specifically to Mesa, as desperate attempts to bash the pilot group, but to airline pilots in general, you would get better results.

The cockpit glass of any airliner offers zero protection from UV rays.
You can prove this to yourself by picking up some cheap UV beads at the science section in any bookstore.
Inflight take em out, and they will instantly fluoresce!

No more Austin, no more Atlanta, no more El Paso. It's slowly improving. Still far behind where it should be, yes, but our Hotel Committee's been doing a pretty good job as of late.

I'll also add that even the most universally detested of all properties barely get any official complaints relative to the total amount of crew members who stay at them, as evidenced by that nifty hotel report the company started sending out monthly. Typically there's less than 1 complaint filed per hundred overnights. That's pretty bad. I encourage everyone to bookmark the API CrewCare site and use it liberally.

You're very wrong... Had a fed on the Jumpseat not too long ago say something to the effect of, "good job fellas, but you really screwed up one thing"... The CA and I looked at each other with puzzled faces... "You forgot to put on sun screen! You're both too young to care right now but when your my age you will wish you had!" ...I wear long sleeves and a UV protective undershirt.
