By the time they get through the stack and start academies they will have hundreds if not double digit amount of applicants that actually show up and they will be right back to hiring minimum time people

Could work out well for those of us who do actually want the job regardless of market conditions but are still short on hours.

I’m definitely one of the guys willing to wait out 2022. Already did the regional thing as a captain, not looking to go back and get seat locked in the right seat for years.
So with this whole dual rated thing, do you guys think there is a possibility that me, or someone else who is only fixed wing, could have offers pulled for not being dual rated? That would be awful. I just wanna get to CBP and retire after 20-25 years

If you applied and received a CJO under an announcement that allowed fixed-wing only, that offer will stand. All federal job offers are very contingent on the details of the related announcement.

Thanks! Yeah, all done with the exception of the flight test. And I suppose there are a few of us on the forum in the same spot.

Location considerations
hey guys I have been filling out my packet i got from the recuuiter and i am stuck on the locations they are offering. I'd like to fly obviously and I don't mind bouncing around plane to helicopter at that location any inside information would be great.
This is what I'm having to chose from
Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
El Paso, Texas
Laredo, Texas
San Angelo, Texas
Sierra Vista, Arizona
Yuma, Arizona
I know Puerto Rico has more flying but I have other obligations and a wife and child.
Thanks
