My apologies Bill. My answer wasn't specifically directed at your question.

My answer to you is: I have absolutely no idea what Frontier wants.

I used .3/sortie and Frontier hired me.

Sorry for probably asking a dumb question, but I assume the mil conversion is to add the .2 or .3 per sortie to just total time? It doesn't add to PIC or IP time, right? In other words (for the sake of simple math) if you have 1000 sorties as a UPT IP or Aircraft Commander I'm assuming that doesn't add 200 or 300 hrs to your IP and/or PIC time, correct?

I disagree. If it adds anything to your total time, then it adds to your IP/PIC time as well.

If the sortie was PIC or IP flying a military jet, I added the .3/sortie to the total in that category. Frontier didn't question it.

Agreed. If you are going to break it out, break everything out. Either count the number of PIC, etc sorties that you have or get excel to break it out for you. Have your uncorrected total time and your corrected total time available. So far, I have just submitted uncorrected for all the apps that I have done. Airlineapps and Pilotcredentials has you enter the number of sorties and then does the conversion for you. Others just ask for the time.

I'm new here and just working on my apps now. I've noticed at least one of the sites will do the conversion work for you. For instance Airline Apps does not and since I meet the min requirements anyway I'm not adding any time, however Pilot Credentials will do the conversion for you assuming you check the box for Military Time. Good luck out there.

I haven't started putting my Apps in yet... for the sites that do the conversion for you, can you see the final numbers on your Apps or are you just trusting they convert it for you? How about some of the Regionals where you apply directly on their site... is there any kind of conversion done there?

The previous post to yours is wrong. AirlineApps does do the conversion for you. And to answer your question, when you click "Review App" you can see that the conversion was applied. For the record, AirlineApps won't come out and tell you what the conversion factor is, but by doing the math on the numbers I submitted, Delta adds 0.2 per military sortie and United does not add anything.

Default Pilot Credentials

Does anyone know if Pilot Credentials is able to apply any conversions for military time?
