Default Navy Individual Ready Reserve

Fellas,

I'm considering making the jump from Selres to IRR. I figure the "good stuff" would be:
1. Clock still ticks toward retirement
2. Don't actually have to drill

"Bad" might be
1. More chance of getting tagged for an IA than when in a flying billet.

Thoughts?

Submit a special request chit. They are looking to trim the ranks so good chance it would be approved after all the "are you sure" conversations.

I figured that out after my original post. I changed it to reflect more of the info I'm looking for. Thanks.
