Maybe compulsive lying is like chain smoking. The first time you get that bad taste, but after a couple more times it becomes natural; once you get to multiple times a day you just can't go on without one more..

Last I read about the guy was that he was spreading his usual lies in the crew lounge at Commutair (Continental Connection, Cleveland base). I believe they have a turboprop operation.

Normally I'd agree with you, but since the FAA has allowed this guy to continue to fly (and lie apparently) I kind of would like to know where he's at. That way if he ever shows up on my trip sheet I can give the company enough advance notice to call out a reserve and not delay the departure.
