Sarcasm like this:
I mean I see the sarcasm in the 2nd line, but in the 1st line no sarcasm. And sarcasm usually works best when you know what you are talking about.
You keep telling everyone to lighten up. Reread your posts in order. You are the one that needs to lighten up.

Sure no problem, will not ever respond to you again. One final question though, what is the opinion you have that I will never change? The only misconception you have that I have commented on is about military conversion. That is not an opinion it is a fact. Is there another opinion that you mutter under your breath we dont know about or that you pretend to cover up with sarcasm?

My opinion that you can never change is that the majority of the FDX pilot group are former military and they are given a preference over civilian more times than not.Once again, my OPINION ONLY!!!. So feel free to educate me on the ratio of the two.
I don't mutter anything under my breath that I wouldn't say on this board nor do I pretend to be something I'm not. What you see is what you get. Like it or not.
Nice talking to ya!!

So, my class breaks down like this:
All Military 3.7%
All Civilian 14.8%
Mil/Civ mix 81.5%
or
Those with some military flying time in their background: 85.2%
Those with some civilian flying in their background: 96.3%
Obviously, FedEx has a preference... in that there is a good mix of both. I have flown with both, and have friends who are both, and to tell the truth, it doesn't matter. Except for those with agendas.

My new hire class had 27 pilots. One was all military time, four were all civilian (Part 121) time, and the other 22 had some mix of civilian Part 121 and military.

I wasn't trying to add value LAG, just a light observation or two leaving my opinions on what is essentially an age old topic out of it. As for the cool background comment, it was just humor as both sides feelings about their backgrounds seem to be coming out in a lot of the posts intentional or not.
