Not saying the company isn’t legit, but a bunch of newly registered, single post forum responses reviewing a mortgage company?

Good point! Here is about 20 more pages of reviews on us from military pilots we’ve done loans for:

http://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums...loans/?page=28

Google, Yelp, Facebook, Delta Chitchat, Navy Lab, Sailor Bob all saying the same thing.

Sorry, we can’t help if our borrowers aren’t seasoned posters on here or not. Doesn’t make the product or service not real.

Cheers!
Marty

Was going to wait until I closed, (and I will follow up when I do), but here's one from someone who is not a new, single post member...

I contacted Marty as a direct result of the referrals in this thread. He was great to talk to, definitely relates to us since he is one of us, and handed me off to Jonathan and his team.

Jonathan, Bri, and Lisa have been nothing short of awesome. I have some credit issues that they advised me one, we got preapproved incredibly quickly, and they have made the process from offer on a house to (almost) closing quick and easy. Since I'm overseas the vast majority of the time, my schedule gets pretty screwy. They have been quick with responses to questions even late at night on weekends. (Which was not expected or needed, but much appreciated.)

I expect to close in the next week or two and will follow up then, but I wanted to clear up the air from the previous posters comment about a fly by night operation. Marty's company is the real deal and it's obvious he has worked hard to set it up to serve us, his target demographic.

Thanks Sir! I totally understand his concern in this day and age of lending scams and people buying reviews on Amazon. I really appreciate you sharing your experience so far and I’m glad you’re so pleased. Let me know if you need anything from me.

Marty

I'd like to take the opportunity to put in a huge recommendation for Amy Stuhr Paterson from NBKC. This was by far the easiest and smoothest mortgage process I have ever been through. Amy was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. She got us a fantastic VA loan rate and helped us throughout the entire process. I am an airline guy coming off of long term military leave so I wasn't sure how qualifying was going to work - but she was able to navigate those waters flawlessly! She was always quick to respond to my questions and she kept me informed throughout the entire process. An added bonus is she's now affiliated with Costco so if you're a Costco member, you'll get an even better deal! I will absolutely use Amy again in the future if I find myself needing another mortgage. If you're looking for a mortgage, do yourself a favor and drop Amy an email at [email protected] or give her a call at (913)253-0190. I've been through multiple other home purchases and she has made this, by far, the smoothest home buying experience I've ever been through.

Default Follow up

As promised, here's my follow up.

We closed on my new house last week. No last second issues, they timed the closing perfectly to work out between trips, and as before, nothing but praise for these guys. Fifth house I've bought over the years and by far the easiest...

Default The Real Deal

Marty and his team are the real deal! My loan officer was Ashley G. I tried about 4 other places who told me “good luck qualifying with your regional pay scale” but THL was finished long before closing. I have recommended them to anyone who asks!

Thank you Sir! Ashley is awesome! We’ve been doing loans for fellow pilots for 10+ yrs and got this down to a science along with the underwriters we’ve educated along the way. We also undercut the competition with our rates because we make our airline salaries too and aren’t greedy. We’d rather be relational than transactional...we don’t advertise and just live on past client referrals like yours! Really appreciate it and congrats!

Jonathan (SW pilot) is in charge of all the loans that come through APC. Feel free to reach out to him at 850-377-1114 or [email protected]

Cheers!
