Oh age has nothing to with it, more the hypocrisy in his statements....

We all get it, NetJets is a bastion of slavery. Now for those of us interested in working for NetJets, does anyone know if there is still a May class planned and if so has it been filled? I'm guessing that I'm just not qualified enough to warrant a phone call for an interview but a buddy said you may only be hiring 50 this year. Just trying to understand what might be going on. Thank you for any information.

or too qualified
2 best days of working at Netjets are the day you start and the day you quit.
Don't sign up to sit in the right seat for 20 years for 1/2 the money you would make at a real airline.

Last my buddy told me was that the union put to bed the rumors of an IBB, so that's not happening. He also said that they want to shrink the fleet from 420 to 400 so my guess is that the hiring will be very minimal, if any at all for the rest of the year. The hiring department is snail slow, and picky with who they call for an interview so don't feel bad if you don't get a call.

No worries about not getting called this round. I'll just keep trying. I know I need to work on that Masters degree and volunteer time to boost my resume. My military experience isn't valued at "the majors" so I'll just have to keep working to make myself valuable.

Uhhhh, this is the NetJets thread man. You don't need a masters or volunteer work. Your military experience is valued, I left for 121 and my military service was praised in the interview process.

That was from Bobo in recurrent. I know you hate those pesky facts, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

And if anyone is having girlfriend issues it's you. You're acting like NetJets is the first girl to give you a handjob.

Anyone thinking about joining NJA would do well to compare the promises of tomorrow here versus the realities of today at other carriers.

Several new models coming with many ok frames that are money losers being used as trade ins. The total fleet will short term dip make room for the more efficient new frames. Exciting frames.

Sorry Eeyore. There's more to eat than thistle.

Handjob?? Dude... guys pay for those! What type of girls are you paying for... I mean... hanging out with??

See, somebody from management can literally say that they want to shrink the fleet to 400 airframes, and you say "oh it's only temporary," who thinks like that?

I mean this with upmost sincerely, but at what point will you acknowledge what is said by your leaders, or even acknowledge reality?

That is absolutely not the context he gave, or what he meant. He literally said that they are having trouble managing 420 airframes and by their estimates, they can better manage and maintain 400 airframes. Also, he mentioned that attrition will cover the excess of pilots which means to me, that they don't plan on hiring that much his year, if at all.

Those are words put out by management from NetJets, I am not trash talking nor stating an opinion on the matter, so the cheerleaders can save their responses. If this thread is about information on NetJets, then this information should be considered by everyone.
