I was a year 2 7/7 when I left. Year 2 at my current job, 80-85k is very realistic on min guarantee. Year 3 guys are making 150k with a little extra work. Factoring health insurance year 3 I will be in the in the black making up for the pay cut I took. This is all predicated on current payscales as well. The JCBA will give us a raise which will further widen the gap.
So even in min guarantee on year 3 you should be able to pull 120k so even factoring in paying for health insurance you're 20k or more ahead.
I'm in reserve now and will be most likely reserve in June which give 13 days off. Lines are different and typically most lines are 15 days off typically.

In an earlier post, you said your health insurance premiums were $650/mo... ($7800/yr)
A 7-year NJ FO on the 7/7 can expect to gross $92,472.... By adding the $7800, am I assuming correctly you expect to gross somewhere North of $100,272 next year?
Factoring-in the 125% override for flight pay above 80hrs/month, you would have to earn at least 89hrs/month to reach that figure. (I thought I read somewhere that you are at Virgin now so I'm using their contract info)
If 90hrs/month is in fact an achievable number, and typical of your current schedules, how many days per month (including days spent commuting if any) do you typically work?

Going rate for a 2nd year 320 driver is going to be 115 minimum on contracts coming up (Spirit, JB, V/AK). NJA FOs were left so far behind it isn't funny.

I'll fly 7 hours today, which would leave me 100% dead at NJA. But with just 2 longish legs, it'll be easy today at SWA (9 hours duty).
I'm on reserve with 14 days off this month, and so far I've been lucky and have been assigned trips from opentime that didn't force me to come in a day early on commute, but some have to from time to time. Of course it only gets better with seniority, which is not the case at NJA.

Haven't been here long enough to give you that answer. It's pretty easy to work min guarantee if you want it, and it's pretty easy to be a ***** if you want to. We get critical pay emails almost daily so if you bid for min guarantee and pick up a few critical pay trips you can make some good extra money.

If not, what would you say the average monthly work-days would be? (including commute days on those months you're not able to successfully trip-trade)

What's the multiplier for "open time" and "critical pay" at Virgin? (100%, 150%, 200%, etc...)

150%. Not sure how that will change with Alaska. You can bid min and also put yourself as WTF (willing to fly) on your days off and if you accept one of those flights you get critical pay as well. Lots of ways to play the system especially if you live in base.
