We have an LOA that allows it, but it is very limited on how many of our pilots (I believe only SICs are allowed) are actually doing it. I'm sure many more could, but the company is hesitant so far on spooling it up since they need active pilots flying. It is also considerably more expensive for our pilots to instruct that FSI instructors. I would guess that a first year or second year SIC at NJA has the opportunity to make more money than the vast majority of instructors at FSI.

New hiring is real and it's happening now. If you were in process then you will want to keep your phone nearby. Good luck to you. 150 new pilots by year's end.

That’s easier to have a training dept under that setup when you’re 121 and AQP. Not so much for 135. We had to be training under 121 for several years before going to AQP in 2020.
I would not be surprised if you see NetJets eventually transition to in-house training and use FSI for the sims. It only make sense under AQP and will prevent a lot of the choke points.

Applying
Like to get some insight if I should apply. Do you think it’s worth applying if I don’t have all of the requirements? I’m missing a ATP and/or the written exam. Currently I have:
2000 hours
550pic
1400 multi turbine (all sic time)
Over 300 hour actual
I currently fly for another fractional company and always wanted to make the move to NetJets. I didn’t want to look bad by applying and not meeting the requirements. Should I just wait to get my ATP or finish the CTP before applying. I know my resume isn’t going to be the most competitive one, if anyone could give some advice. Thanks in advance
