Over 300 hour actual
I currently fly for another fractional company and always wanted to make the move to NetJets. I didn’t want to look bad by applying and not meeting the requirements. Should I just wait to get my ATP or finish the CTP before applying. I know my resume isn’t going to be the most competitive one, if anyone could give some advice. Thanks in advance
JetFlyin,

My advice is wait until you meet all of the minimus before you apply. The only one that I see that you don't meet is not having the ATP. Do not let that discourage you, this hiring wave is only just begining. Keep the questions coming.

I realize the window just opened yesterday and not much is known about mins that are getting in, but would I be competitive pre covid? No idea what the hiring landscape looked like back then as I knew I wasn’t competitive with no atp or turbine time.

ATP

2000 TT

750 AMEL

650 Turbine amel

220 instrument

two type ratings, regional jet and a cj type.

Pre covid there were not competitive mins. We will see if that approach continues in this new hiring period. If you met the mins you met the mins and they hired the person. Apply and let them make the decision. I hope that helps.

When I applied I just barely met the minimums and I got the job. If you meet the minimums it’s just about if you can be safe, and customer service oriented.

Thanks for the responses! With being home based, can you move whenever you want without issue? I only live where I currently live because my job is here. I would love to move elsewhere.

Go take the written. The test ain't rocket surgery.

You exceed the other requirements just fine. As the saying goes, you can't win if you don't play.

Bon chance...

You can change bases with a 7 day notice. There is no limit to the number of base changes you can make.

Thanks for the response, only thing is that I haven’t taken the ctp course that’s required for the written exam. I’m looking up places that are reasonably priced. I can’t count on my company sending me to ctp course anytime soon.

I know no new hiring has been going on for a while, but pre covid it was mostly latitude and 300s for new hires right? What’s the process to change aircraft like?

Bid process like most large pilot groups have (airlines mostly). 39 month lock in new equipment, waived (sort of) for upgrading. Seniority rules.
