People are allowed to have opinions. My experience at NJA was different than yours and that is perfectly ok. Don't get butthurt just because somebody doesn't blindly agree with you.
#1, I brought you up because it was a matter of time before you chimed in. "had to respond"? No you didn't.

#2 wanna bet?

#3 it's all seniority, at every F'n airline. You were at NJs for 5 minutes. So your seniority was low. Ask anybody at an airline or air line how their schedule and pay was their first year or at low seniority.

#4 "People are allowed to have opinions" , unless it's me, right?

#5 no measuring contest needed. I'm sure there are more people that will agree with me than you. But, you do you...?!

Some people get shot down in the HR portion, some in the sim evaluation and others by the way they dress and carry themselves throughout the day. It would be wise to understand that you are interviewing for a luxury brand, dress like it, be confident yet not cocky, know how to read the room and understand what to say and what not to say, when to speak and when to listen and do your best to fly the sim smoothly while having good ADM and promoting a positive CRM environment.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sounds like it makes up the whole spectrum.

I believe you meant to say you could NOT care less. Perhaps not understanding proper grammar is a sign of not understanding other things, too. I am also former NJ and loved my time there. The schedules were great, training excellent, benefits absolutely amazing and they treat their crews with dignity and respect. The only reason I moved elsewhere was to fly heavy. As much as I love my current company and the flying I get to do here (and, as Zudd says, the pay is unparalleled), the Netjets experience was wonderful. It is absolutely a career place and perhaps showing a bit of gratitude and self awareness would make you less of a curmudgeon.

Second year FO’s at Zudd and my current company make more than most of your Captains, hands down. A second year FO on the international side (especially last year and this year) has the ability to make more than the domestic Captains at our own company (which still pays far more than yours). I’m not trying to **** on your current employer (they’re fantastic and I’ve always had a positive experience flying on them to get to work) but if you want to start a d*ck measuring contest, you’re just going to look silly. We are all asking you to sit down, kiddo. You’re the only one throwing a tantrum and everyone thinks it’s weird.

It is weird, but it’s also highly entertaining!

Default Average Pay 7/7 schedule years 1-5

Good Afternoon, I apologize if this has been asked previously in the thread. I am trying to get some realistic numbers of what one can expect years 1-5 on the 7/7 schedule? Also for those with families how is the health insurance, benefits etc. Are they still tracking a 14-15 year upgrade?

Thank you!

Take base pay, add 5-10% for holiday pay and overtime, then another 35K or so for FDP pay. Then add extended days if you choose to bid for those.

Medical is premium-free, and very good coverage.

Upgrades currently at 14-15 years, I anticipate the number to decrease as retirements increase, fleet size increases, and we get past the FOs that were out 4 years on furlough.

All the above is spot on. My last 6-7 years have been 11-14% for OT and holiday pay though. I always bid the 7/7. I'm a junior Capt, which translates to, I have to work the 7/7 that covers most of the major holidays.
