Honestly he is not off 99 percent of the time. Some of his details are a bit dated but come on he is the Ying to JLs Yang.

We could talk about how wrong JL is on food, airline service and how airlines make money. JLs belief in airlines is two decades dated, anyone know what airport has a Sabarros anymore? I haven’t seen one in years….maybe PHL?

It’s an open platform. If MinRest wants to post, so be it. If you don’t want to read it, use the tolls you have and block it. If JL wants to wax poetically about how back in his day TWA just went to 10 airports and union meetings were at the airport Sabarros, so be it.

I guess if he got the upgrade this year and decided to do the 76 day schedule and extend all the time he could make more money than just doing a regular work line without playing any games at the airline, but that would require getting awarded all the soft pay that we have no control over. The airlines are simply better for most and the more you slam it and don't acknowledge reality, the more he will continue to post. I have no problems with his posts when he gets the facts right.
I really try not to get into the ****ing contest between NJA and AS but I know that my buddy on the 350, hired when I was hired, flying the 7/7, will not clear 200k this year. I made significantly more than that on the old contract on Year 3 FO pay without picking up open time. Arguing pay AND QOL differences between major airlines and NJA is absolutely silly. NJA has had an identity crisis for closing in on two decades now. All I heard in 2015 was how NJA was like an airline, and deserved pay and QOL like an airline. Clearly that didn't happen but the yardstick NJA pilots continue to make is how it compares to the airlines. Because JL had a crappy airline career, he wants everyone else to have a crappy airline career thus oversells the fantasy world he lives in because he is an A teamer. It is a reality few people experience at NJA and he still falls short significantly in pay to his pears with similar YOS at a major airline. QOL? Forget it, he works 22 days a month eating mystery meat crew meals (when they show up)...

I have said time and time again that NJA is a great company overall, no company is perfect. It is absolutely a great fit for the right person. But I refuse to watch JL and others type unrealistic BS to try and sell NJA to prospective new hires. The pathetic thing is, he isn't even a recruiter for the company but he has a complete inability to give a realistic outlook on what a typical new hire can expect. Then again he hasn't been in touch with reality in decades, and only thinks about himself, which is why he takes every extended day he can, and has pathetic meltdowns on NJASAP that keep getting him temporary bans.

You have a problem with my posts because it hurts your feelings. You take the reflection of NJA by somebody else, as a reflection of yourself. In your mind, you ARE NetJets, it is your identity. Fix that, and you will be able to have a healthy outlook on the career you have chosen, which there is nothing wrong with btw.

I get it man. Truly I do. I worked with the phenomenal speeder a few times. He made his bed and he will defend it till the day he dies.

I worked at NJA for quite a few years, it’s AAA ball is how I think of it. Very good AAA ball club at that. If you want to do corporate, you can not beat NJA hands down. Good benefits, all right salary, dispatchers and travel arranged for you. Not bad at all. BUT just look at how many guys leave United to go to NJA and then look at the opposite flow of pilots. It’s a one way street pretty much. I have many friends that still work there, I truly am happy when they tell me they got 2K in FDP pay. When they say they got 500 in tips. I am so happy for them but I don’t tell them I am sitting at home on a trip that was bought off me for 4K for IOE because that will just depress them and sometimes people need to win a few. When it comes to complete compensation a major can not be beat end of story. Most people get that if they are honest with themselves, BUT the guy you are arguing with wasn’t even honest about speeding going into Philly. You have to be honest with oneself, that’s the first step.

I too wish honesty was exhibited on this site from a few other cheerleaders. I was sold a bill of goods when I started at NJ. It was mostly lies and sunshine blown up my butt by a unicorn jumping over a rainbow. So yea I understand why you respond to the phenomenon speeder but truly it isn’t worth it. He likes getting in the mud way too much and all it does is get your suit dirty.

Best of luck to you all!

Go to the airlines then my friend.

Let us know how it works out.

The track record goes back 40+ years to 1978 and deregulation.

Hire furlough hire furlough hire furlough.

Why he’d keep ties with you and feed you tidbits of anything possibly going on at NetJets is beyond me.

So, you’ve taken it upon yourself to “save” pilots from flying at NetJets? Do you think them incapable of making sound decisions? You certainly made a mistake coming here but as we’ve mentioned before, we owe you a solid for leaving.

Mechanical reliability and fatigue calls must have improved the moment you left.

Do you think of yourself as a new pilot savior of some sort?

Wow. That’s pretty rich.

I said the airlines are better for most. My personal situation leaves me with NJA as the better choice this far into my career and as old as I am. If I had similar personal situations to almost anyone that would be a newhire here, I would chose the airlines 100% of the time and take my chances with the furlough train. The airlines are simply better and less risky than you suggest. I would certainly choose Alaska over NetJets and probably should have taken that gamble years ago when my age would have lined up much better.

And just when you though it couldn't get any more pathetic, another Minrest alter ego is born. (Elon Musk)

What normal person would type a post, log out then log back in and reply to his own post under a different name?

Please don't further insult the intelligence of everyone who reads this forum by denying it, again!

Sorry man I don’t know MinRest, though our time at NJA did overlap. I think you got it wrong, the Phenomenal Speeder did that and got caught when his signature line wasn’t changed.

Lastly I am trying to talk MinRest into stop conversing with the Philly Speeder (I think I like that one better) as it does nothing for the conversations here on this forum.

You must think the moon landing was faked and the earth is flat too. Every time somebody disagrees with you, you think it's some alias I have. No wonder you and JL agree on so much, He was busy drinking fish bowl cleaner during COVID while you were probably trying to claim the election was rigged.
