Din´t think that the guys needed that deep of info....but I stand corrected, training could shift 2 weeks slightly "left or right".....
I still consider the 7/7 a schedule known for "most" of the year...

Eyes wide open and all...
Training can shift more than twice. They've done it for a class then rescheduled. They've done it more than twice to reset base months or fill a class. Displacements as well. Also, it can be reset every October. Your info was good. Just giving more for those that want it. Take care.

If I remember correctly, times were around 6500 hrs, mostly fractional and charter. 13 hired in December. January class undecided. If no January class, then double up in February. I've been hearing 8-10ish per class every month. Hiring 80 for 2017. Keep in mind, 2016 hiring forecast wasn't close. Initially 2016 was suppose to be 100-120. I don't think we hired even half that. Shuffling pilots from retired old fleets to new fleets burns a lot of sim slots.

Seems we are losing 2 for every 1 hired at the moment.

Where does it seem most people are going?
Airline,commuter,other corporate,retirements?

With every sector hiring the way they are,if someone was thinking about making a change ,now is definitely the right time.
Who knows how long this hiring boom will last.
As per usual,it won't last as long as every "expert " predicts.

Maybe the boom will slow but there are literally thousands of mandatory retirements in the pipeline at the majors and more people are forecast to fly more often in the future. Add that to $50 a barrel oil and I think it's safe to predict a decent run for us pilots.
Nothing is guaranteed in this business of course but on paper the laws of supply and demand are in our favor.
