I received an email from NJA on the 31st, the day after my phone interview, inviting me to come to Columbus for the two day interview. It gave me a number to call to schedule the days for the interview. I was flying when the email came so I will call to schedule on Friday the 2nd.

I attached a letter of recommendation to my application along with a cover letter and my resume. The LOR was from a NetJets pilot who used to work with me. I had mentioned his name on the application where it asked where I had heard about the job. The call came for the phone interview a day or two after I attached the LOR. I don't know if that prompted the call or not.

When I first filled out the app I did not have a LOR from my buddies yet. So I just put my buddies name that works at NetJets in the box that asked where did you hear about us. What is funny is the day I uploaded his LOR I received the call for the phone interview a few hours later ( I think this was just a coincidence.) I do think it helped I had his name as a referral.
