In about 10 years, Netjets will look like the Lollypop Guild of Munchkinland...

True enough

Just had dinner with a friend who retired from Northwest at 58 BY CHOICE 10 years ago. His chin hit the plate when I told him we have about 240 pilots over 65 and 2 pilots who turn EIGHTY next year still actively flying.

At what age does the term "arbitrary" no longer apply.....?

I heard the new IBB proposal is to have all episodes of Golden Girls to be added to crew iPads.

Why are the pilots paired with them not speaking up and documenting their incompetency? You can't tell me they aren't making serious mental mistakes in the cockpit that the copilots have to recover from and constantly remain alert for.
And even if these guys knew they were a hazard to everyone, they would never admit to it. NetJets needs to acknowledge this and do something about it. It's not fair to ask pilots to risk their lives babysitting the elderly. 65 rule is lonnng overdue and if NetJets considers their passengers' safety a priority like they claim to, they would do something about it.

I pray to God I don't end up like one of losers who will have to be dragged out kicking and screaming, well after their expiration date.

Did they say what aircraft they were hiring you for? I have a Skype coming up.
