How long is it taking for people to get calls? I was offered an interview back in November when they were going gang busters and passed on it because of another job. Almost immediately I started regretting that decision. So I talked with a lady (Feb/Mar 2012) who gave me the same ol' "O he just stepped out, I'll take your number" BS and it got me no where. Now I've re-applied twice over the past two/three weeks and have heard nadda.

Judging by everyone's post, there is still classes occurring. Suggestions?

Are there enough FOs to fill the Saab and 1900 cpt vacancies? Have they started hiring street captains?

So what routes is Silver specifically looking to pick up out of IAD because Commutair just announced they are taking most of Colgans old routes.

They are currently hiring street captains and FO's. All new hires are going into the Saab. From what I understand there will not be any displacements out of the Saab. 1900 guys will be allowed to flow through as vacancies come open. They can not attract as many new hires by hiring into the 1900, it is not as cost effective considering the aircraft will be phased out over time. By hiring / staffing this way you only have to train everyone once.
