They have us live at the destination towns served in that region, rather than at the hub. For example, for CLE ops they have us based at BFD, DUJ and PKB, rather than in CLE. This is mainly due to logistical issues with overnighting us in these small towns. IAD and ATL may prove to be the same situation. BIL is the crew base for MT ops, since it proved less difficult to have crews overnight at outstations than find permanent lodging for them.

Thanks for the info. Nothing like a 2 leg commute to screw up your days off.

Wish I knew where that info was coming from about the outstation basing. Guess we will have to wait until the bases open to find out for sure.

Talk to your hotel committee chairman and tell him to get with someone at Colgan. There are no hotel problems with us. Altoona may be a small exception because of the distance. FYI we used to overnight in PKB and JHW.

Colgan used to think they were saving a buck with no hotels either. But then when the morning guy bangs out sick and you have no one on reserve, you end up paying the price for the cancelled flight.

Exactly my man wonder what is cheaper cancelling a flight or paying for a hotel.

Hopefully PR will become a base so I can go there and have Latin girlfriends.
