Not any time soon. They were just meeting for contracts in the NE this week I believe. And I'm assuming the fact that there's future 1900 classes will confirm that.

Anyone hired or interviewed lately? How many hours and how long after submitting your resume were you called to interview? Does one need a recommendation to get in?

I can't speak for Silver Airlines but I can tell you that you need an extra 1,000 hours to be hired at most regional airlines. By Aug. of next year you'll have to hold an ATP and PIC Type rating for the aircraft you are operating while an FO. If hired now, most places can't get you the 1,000 you need (training time, reserve, etc.).

You do realize you would have to be at 1500 hours by august of next year, right?

What's the worse that could happen, get a letter that says "thanks but no thanks" "please contact us when you achieve XXXX TT". If I was you I would apply anywhere that they are hiring!

Always apply and never get excited.
