The guy who told me about them said they are getting Q400, I didn't find any of that in the thread I read thus far. Guess that was a rumour then since there is nothing on the website either. The salaries for the Saab 23.xx for 1st yr FO is not bad.

Do they have commuter clause? Is Dulles, VA a senior base and would someone with 1170tt and 147 multi have a shot of starting on the Saab or how is that working?

Also hearing about the single occupancy during training sounds generous.
Whoever told you we are getting Q400's is incorrect at the moment. There has been no word on us getting larger aircraft as of yet, just a lot of rumors.

No commuter clause but you do get personal days that can be used for whatever you want (i.e. you can't get to work).

At 1170 TT you would definetly have a chance at the Saab, especially because as far as I know that is the aircraft we are hiring into . Dulles is not very senior and you could possibly hold it out of training depending on the time frame.

All training accomodstions are single occupancy suites, 24/7 per diem plus monthly guarantee or over. Some months in training you can actually credit 90+ hours depending on how your training days fall etc. you get 4 hours of credit for each work day in training (i.e. you have a 6 day week of training you receive 24 hours of credit).

Things are changing / growing on a daily basis here. There are a lot of positive ideas / rumors / possibilities for 3M so that is good. There are growing pains though and we are short people so you will work.

We have a commuter clause...it's two days in a rolling 12 month period. You have to apply for personal days ahead of time.

From what a buddy of mine taking his SF340B+ checkride on Saturday/Sunday told me is that they are only keeping 4-8 B1900's and they're all going to the EAS flying up in Cleveland, and Billings. As we all know they're getting a few more SF340's right now, and a lot of the crews on the B1900s are being re-typed over to the SF340 as we speak. As for hiring... no idea. I just verified employment yesterday at my flight school for my buddy. Coincidence? I think not. :-)

I'm sitting in transition class right now and there is also a group of 20 new guys here too. 4 of them are Beech, the rest are Saab initial.

Chance. Upgrade man , it's hard to say , could be quick but that could change within months

Hi guys, I interviewed last week but no call yet. Question: when they're hiring into multiple airframes do new hires get to bid for the aircraft type after Indoc? Or are the aircraft just assigned? Also, how is seniority determined within the class? I assume by age like at my current airline but not sure how it works at Silver.

Usually they tell you what you'll be flying before you show up for training. Your home base however is what they tell you sometime during training/after indoc.

That is my fault you do get the rolling two days, I forgot about that. It was late when I was writing that...
