Hello Everyone,
I am an instructor at a Part 141 university and came across Silver's program. I would love to live in Florida and my ultimate career goal is a fractional carrier or business aviation. Would you recommend signing up for the program or looking at other airlines?

I don’t think we have many Silver pilots floating around here, but figured I would try anyway.
Is it possible to commute from the outstations? I realize cargo side is the most junior right now, but once you were able to hold a passenger line, would commuting from PNS or CHS be something that’s possible?

Well I only had one young man, Mr. Lee from Gulfstream for IOE... Yes it was a while ago 2008... He had 800 TTL and 500 right seat in the 1900... He was a very good pilot and did great coming to the CRJ200 flying his first 4 day trip out of JFK and the NE... I would have signed him off after the first trip but he was short 4 hours... Bonus for me because I was able to fly another 4 days with him... Word was he returned to South Korea with KAL on the 738, his father was a 330 Captain there... Judge pilots for their skills not the Company on the resume...

I'm not at Silver but from a friend who is:
AFW is the junior base. (Amazon ATR cargo flying). It is mostly all night flying, out and back. Meaning you are responsible for your own accommodation between work shifts unless you plan on moving there or already live there.

Would love to have an opportunity to interview with Silver Airways as I live close to AFW. I applied a little while back, but have not heard anything. If anyone is willing to provide a phone number and/or email to their recruiting team, please DM me.
