Does anyone know what bases are junior right now? And can anyone tell me what a typical schedule looks like?

There are three bases - FLL, TPA and AFW (Amazon Prime Cargo). You basically can get any of the three. They are desperate for pilots in all three. I think they need pilots the most in FLL as of this second, but realistically you will get which ever base you want at this point.

AFW Schedules right now are three days on (Flights leave about midnight and come back around 7 and 8am), then three days off, but I've heard they're going to be changing to 5 on 5 off.
FLL and TPA schedules vary from 1 day trips to 5 day trips, each day you could have an out and back turn or 4 legs... Most are 4 legs days. Regardless, you're back in your base/domicile at the end of every night.

If you'd like more info feel free to send me a PM.

No SJU?

How are the schedules down there compared to up in FL?

Sorry, totally forgot about SJU. I don't know much about that side of the flying, but looks like they are very similar to FLL and TPA. Back home each night, 1 to 4 day trips. Much shorter legs though.

Talking You might want to consider

Connect Airlines. Go look up their website. They have better pay and bonuses and you won’t have to fly night freight. Just another option is all.

On APC it shows connect starts at $45. Silver starts at $52.

Red face Yes, BUT

I have heard that depending on experience, you may start past year one. Compare bonuses too for F/Os, near Captain and Captain AND previous DHC8 experience. The bonus package is quite large at Connect.

Had a phone interview yesterday and was told they are not hiring direct entry captains as of July 5th.

Question

What is the best way to get in touch with Silver? Does Silver have recruiters?

Go to the website and fill out the app online. If you meet the min requirements you should get a call within a business day or two.
