Not quite you need 50 multi, but only 25 in an airplane. You can realistically expect to start as a new hire with less than 50 multi, and obtain the rest in the sim.

Mooney.. I understand what you are saying but have to disagree with you. I have never worked at Lakes, but have worked with ex lakers. Besides being excellent pilots they more than most want to see change in the industry. They are the ones who have experienced the low wages and quality of life, each person has different reason why the worked there. Now that they have moved into bigger and better they are the guys I would trust to negotiate on my behalf because they will not settle and be treated so poorly again. Besides how is ALPA doing for you and your regional? Different backgrounds shape people lets not be so quick to judge and use each other's strengths to the betterment of the industry.

How the heck did lakes get my name and address. They just sent me a letter in the mail saying the part 135 ops was approved and they are looking for qualified captains to fly single pilot. I am wondering how they got my info? I have never applied to them. I wonder if UND is selling my info since I am an alumni.

Or I didn't say it well. I have no problem with lakers or their flying skills, or someone taking a job there. I'd have no problem with a Laker flying around my 3 year old daughter. I was just referring to the 1 individual who doesn't even work there yet saying basically "who cares what they pay us, I love flying!!!" Takes away from all the hard work that people have done to increase wages. But touché on the ALPA thing, which is why I said "union" and not ALPA
