Any chance you could copy/paste that ad with description? I'm not a member there so I can't see any details. Thanks!

I doubt GLA would have an ad for a 135 freight job in MKE on their website...

Half the pay to fly a plane with double the pax for the almighty TPIC... no. I was going to say no thanks, but just no.

Here is a better way to build multi engine time. Stinks doing the laundry, but it is good, quality time.

So you are saying you hope that the pilots currently at Great Lakes will soon be out of a job?

I think he is saying he is disappointed GLA has found a way to circumvent playing by the rules every other regional carrier has to; hiring pilots with 1500 hrs. However, I am not sure if they are still a Part 121 carrier. Anybody know for sure? Did they lose their 121 certificate with the approval of their Part 135? If so, then they are no longer in the Regional Airline business and really don't need to be a topic on this board.

If you are a pilot with less than 1500 hrs, let's say 750hrs and would like to knock out the additional time in less than a year, GLA provides an opportunity for you to do so. Pay sucks, company sucks, QOL sucks. Pilot group was awesome when I was there. It is a means to an end: it sucks It got me here though.
