Wow, is that for the Airvan/207 or the Navajo/Caravan?

That can't be right. There's no way Grant could sustain that kind of pay. The highest I've heard of lately is 450/day and it definitely wasn't at Grant.

Thought that sounded ridiculously high. Was told that's what they are offering to new hires. Wonder where that came from?

Default New Ravn Pay

Ravn just gave their entire pilot group some huge raises! 75 hour gar. & 15k per year retention bonuses. Dash SIC start at 60k base + benefits! Bush got bumped up too. Caravan PIC base pay around 75k for two on two off!

Looks like the bar has been raised a long way!

There is no way PenAir can match that, a first year captain makes 50$ Hr with a 72hr guarantee. It's Sad that a first year FO at Corvus makes more than a first year captain at PenAir. Even if they had the money to pay their pilots they are still in denial. The owner of the company told some guys in recurrent that the pilot shortage will blow over in a few months. Either he is stupid or he thinks the pilots are stupid but it's probably a combination of both.

PenAir should have done the same when they started competing in the lower 48.

Any KS pilot that lives in ANC (and is not a PenAir lifer) would be foolish not to consider changing to Ravn.

RAVN is worse than PenAir, in That you'll be an FO for 6 years, getting constantly and unexpectedly bypassed in upgrade from Hageland pilots coming over to RAVN, with the joint seniority list. Would you rather be an FO for 2years at PenAIr, then upgrade, then leave a year later, or be making $54/hr as an FO at RAVN? Easy decision, stay at PenAir, upgrade, then leave.
