Glad you saw the humor..... 3 years and nothing new. I’m sure something maybe in the pipeline but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Unfortunately good pilots are getting great benefits simply by going to the competitors. The grand news I am begin to think is only one application away.

I fully expect that if they fail to come through with this announcement or if it's nothing to write home about, there is going to be a large group that starts seriously looking. Just going to make the summer all that more rough on everyone that's still here! Seems like we are likely already understaffed since they just extended the increased overtime pay again.

Literally everyone I talk to is pinning their hopes on this announcement being something substantial. Because this goofy health insurance has everyone looking elsewhere. Many horror stories about specialists not being covered, etc.

If the announcement turns out to match up with what I’ve been hearing, your satirical post is going to be pretty accurate.

Wheels up now owns Gama! Not sure what this will mean for us but it sounds good.

If this was the “amazing” news that was being promoted, this will not keep people around.

+1

While it may make sense for WUP and Gama to operate as one, this isn’t enough to fix the low morale and revolving door of the pilot group.

I’ll tell you what’s interesting...I have 8.3K hours, all multi-turbine, with 5K pilot-in-command part 121 and they turned me down because I live in Spokane. Lame.
you have to live within 2 hours of a base. Bases in SEA
