Interesting in applying and getting into the 135 world. Seems like a good company. 3800 TT, ATP, long time CFI but not much turbine experience though(<100 hours). I know every training course is a fire hose..

-Is it a good first jet?

-I'm proficient with garmin/G1000 type setups. Is that what they have?

-Is the training similar to the 121 world(i.e.-indoc, systems, then 8-9 sim sessions)? I'm assuming its not AQP?

Thanks

Its not as fire hose as you think... I came from 121 and CAE was CAKE compared to 121. With that being said... People have flunked out of training.

Its a good jet. Once you get a grip on how fast it climbs the rest is pretty standard.

As of now all of our 8 have g1000. G3000 in the future would not surprise me (we receive g3000/g1000 difference s training)

And u are correct about the structure of training. No AQP

Until you run out of G1000 birds to buy, the G3000 are still out of the “price” range for Jetsuite. It will also be interesting to see what happens with this new SB that is coming out with the older serial numbers. Gonna ground a lot of the fleet soon.

I was corresponding with Suzy Hawkins a while back but when I tried to contact her recently my email bounced back; is she still with JS?

Suzy has not worked at Jetsuite since July 2018 when they moved to Dallas, TX.

P300 currently have a non immediate SB regarding corrosion in replaceable parts. Our maintenance is expecting for that to become an immediate SB or even an AD. The time it will take to replace those parts on our 8 p300 is what he is regarding as grounding the fleet. Last I heard one of our airplanes is undergoing compliance with this SB and the entire fleet will be cycle through maintenance to ensure compliance. All efforts will be to ensure safety and minimize operational impact.
