I got a video call scheduled, my total time is 1550, turbine 975. Is the video call just going over my resume, any technical questions here? I'm heading over to aviationinterviews just in case. Also, anyone know if KSNA is still a base? When I applied the only SoCal location was KBUR.

Nice! Should just be a phone call going over your resume and to make sure the company is a good fit for you. More of a get to know you and you get to know the company type of deal. We have an SNA base but we won’t be hiring into it anytime soon I don’t think. It’s a very small base and it’s mostly OG’s.

Thanks for the info. I hope KSNA expands.

Highly doubtful. SNA doesn't want JSX getting too big there. Plus the variety of schedules aren't that great anyways. Not sure if anyone new has even gotten SNA at all, it's senior. Expect BUR if you're in Socal.

I have 1,067 hours, 300 of which are in the ERJ-145. Should I apply?

If you want to potentially work for JSX, I would say so. You’d likely get an interview if you have time in type. Currently we are hiring for DAL.

Default Pay

Does anyone know if you can get hired into a different pay year? For example, getting hired directly into 2nd year pay instead of 1st. 1000 ME Turbine PIC FWIW.

No, it is years of service. So everyone starts at year one

Default BUR base?

I friend of mine who lives in LA is interested in working for JSX but I read on the JSX careers sight that the FO position is only avail in DAL (aka no LA area base for new hires)?

She has an interview scheduled at SkyWest and I believe they are saying she can expect to be LAX based right out of training.

Wondering if anyone can give me a lowdown on what working for JSX is like currently in terms of QOL for someone who lives in LA. She interviews well and I suspect she'll be lucky enough to be in a position to choose between SkyWest and JSX.

If any new hires that live in the LA area can chime in here (or PM me), I'd be most appreciative....
