I’ve gotten a couple of calls this morning from people within the charter/management community saying they’ve heard of significant layoffs at WUPJ HQ occurred today. I’ve heard nothing and thought things were on the up and up. Anyone else have info?

It will be interesting to see the Q4 earnings, if they ever release them.

To say there is redundant management across all the certificates would be a gross understatement. I Hope that's what it would be referring to.

29.3 hours in a tour at NJ would get you $2,856, ~$1900 of which would end up on your paycheck and the rest in your 401k. And with a tour that busy, there would also be a ton of overtime and other soft pay in there too. Not sure where $881 comes from.

12 months after hitting the line at NJ on the 8&6, I should easily hit $130k…as a first year FO.

If you divide my gross pay for the pay period by the days worked with all my soft money(FDP, overtime, etc.), I made $881 a day. It was to compare to the daily rate the Flex guy was boasting about., not that we are paid a daily rate per say.

I completed an interview with WheelsUp recently and I have a FlexJet interview coming up. If given a CJO at WheelsUp do they have you sign paper immediately for the contract or do they wait until Indoc? My FlexJet interview is in a few days and that’s my preferred choice. I should be hearing back soon from WheelsUp for a 4/1 class. I’m a regional guy looking to return to the 135 world.

I received an offer on a Friday and was emailed the Training Agreement on Monday. There was no deadline given. The obligation is based on training received, so I imagine you have some time. I'm a 4/11 start.
Your obligation should be less since you already have ATP.

Default wheels up schedule

Hello Im currently an instructor looking to apply to wheels up and have a kid on the way which is making this decision really hard. I'm trying to figure out if wheels up offers schedules other than 8 on 6 off. Any input would be great

What kind of schedule are you looking for? Most places are 8/6 15/13 or flexible changing every month.
