Did I read the pay scales correctly?
Need to be a 12 year PIC to hit 150k/year on a Medium jet?

possibly for someone who starts now. However the lines are steps not years so when you upgrade or transition to a different airframe, you always increase in pay. Not real sure if new hires get credit for experience or not.

That’s basically correct. You’re hired and start on step 1. Year 2 is step 2 and so on. If you transition it’s more complex. But they’ve pretty much halted all transitions.

I thought the same thing, the starting pay isn't bad but the steps are incredibly slow.

Hiring for all these positions is great , paying your pilots correctly and in a timely manner is better.

Those pay scales aren't realistic considering what the Regionals are now paying. Now if they hire SIC's who don't meet ATP mins it's not a bad deal for them.

Argus Wyvern and the insurance requirements determine the hiring mins for the larger 135s. If a guy or gal wants to work for a regional and do that type of industry work, then pay shouldn’t influence them either way. 135 is more work for less money, but IMO more rewarding. I realize that’s a minority opinion.
