Pay scale isn’t necessarily accurate to what you’ll actually make. They have a leg to leg pay system I heard that can yield way more than just base pay. Talked to a guy in an FBO about it. Seemed interesting.

Having done both I agree with you. Not having to commute is huge too. Having said that, someone who just spent close to six figures learning how to fly may feel the pull of the extra money at the regionals too strong to resist. All of the 135s and fracs will need to up their game if they want to keep the ranks adequately staffed moving forward.

Each step is a year. The reason they titled them steps is that with the new pay scale, everyone stayed at the same pay or went to the next higher pay step. For me it was 6 ish years to step 3 with a few thousand raise.

I passed on recall to USAirways because I was a Captain at NetJets and really enjoyed that kind of flying. I almost always saw a new airport each 5-7 day tour. In the long run I think I made more $$ working there. It wasn't until my last few years there I could have made as much or more at USAirways. A lot more work than just making the left turn into the cockpit but it was also a lot more interesting and challenging.

Any detail or examples of the current sign-on bonuses? Listings mention them but no specifics...

Are these all FT positions? Or do they have a Part-time contract type arrangement as well?

It means that Wheelsup do not pay their pilot on time it also means that when you finally get paid your check will be short.
Big talks about expansion and buying everybody out , big talks about pilots making all that extra money for all the extra flying ..just talks…(BTW they have yet to show a profit)
If you are looking for a job I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
