I was wondering if Ameriflight had some sort of VFR 135 option in PHX for those just under 135 IFR mins???

While I don't think they have VFR mins anymore, IF you PM me I will give you a contact name and number.

At one time, when Ameriflight was still operating Lances, there was a lot more VFR flying out of PHX and even a few pilots who didn't have IFR checkrides. However, it turned out to be very difficult to manage with VFR-restricted pilots when mother nature growled, the single-engine airplanes are gone, and all current line captains are IFR-135 qualified.
