Well if they only care about ATP in category, it looks like you don't have to do the Certification Training Program prior to taking the Single Engine ATP written. So one could fly freight up to around 2000-2500 hours and maybe have a shot if that employer happens to not require a Bachelors.

Hmm, yeah I am seeing that now. I was thinking even the multi-engine operators didn't care as long as it checked the ATP box but I just came across an EagleMed posting and they want ATP-MEL or ATP written completed and passed. No degree requirements but paying for that CTP course sounds very painful.
I'm a complete outsider but it just seems like CAMTS would get a ton of flak from med crews if they lowered minimums.
