Question 135 Operation with low hiring mins

I am looking for a 135 operator that pays their pilots fairly well (65K +) and has initial hiring minimums around 1500 hours. The only company that I know of is located near my current residence. They have a fleet of about 20 A/C ranging from King Air 100's to a Challenger 604, with a few Lears and Hawkers in between. A newly promoted Lear captain earn 50K and the payscale caps at around 95K.

So if anyone knows of any operations such as this, I would greatly appreciate the enlightenment.

KiloAlpha - that company doesn't exist. Starting 135 charter is in the $30k/yr range and Capt. is closer to $60k. This varies from shop to shop - but good luck.

Baja.

BTW - there ais usually a Charter shop at every airport that has the runway to service jets.

135 outfit that pays $65K/yr.... That's a good one... To find one of those places you usually have to be in a high cost of living area.. There are several in Alaska and around the West Coast .. but that $65k goes as far as $45K in other places.. Not that they're not out there... but you need to have the right type ratings and connections. Sorry to sound so negative, but that's reality. Asking us here probably means you don't have either, but taking some starter jobs at $30K/yr will get you a good type rating and intoduce you to a few other operators. Let us all know if you find one.

with 1500 hours it will be difficult to find anything that pays more than 30K maybe 40K if your lucky. There probably are some 65K jobs out there but you need an inside connection.
