I used to jump on there MEM-ELD route weekly. You can no longer pre-list for a flight/Jumpseat. I used to call their reservation # to check availability and then list at the gate.

When I sent my app in, they called me the next morning. However, they spent a few weeks calling for phone interviews. Then, they sent an email out saying which ones were invited to go to the in-person interview, written test and flight sim test. That is going on in three cities. Currently, they are in Memphis, June 30, July 1 and July 2. I was told another email will go out to those selected on July 7th for the Aug 4th class.
Memphis was the last city for interviews, others being Portland and San Diego, both in June.
I am not sure there would be another chance to make it into the Aug class. They have some good things in the works though, so you never know what demand will come in the short term.

Thanks, I am a low timer with 300tt commercial, single , mulit, instrument. I was wanting to get in the august class so I could keep my pilot dreams alive while facing the new atp rules. I will be taking the atp written soon. My plans are like everyone else. Take the written, go to Seaport and build 1500 hours before the 24 months following the atp written completion. Paying 20k for the atp course after july 31 will kill my dreams forever and I know that. But for now I will get my written done and see what happens. The reality is that the atp rule will be a career ender for some guys and girls. Its sad but very true. I can go get another degree for 20k.

Anyone knows how long it usually takes to get a call back from Seaport? I'm just curious, no rush or anything. I completed an application last Sunday when I got some free time. I was also wondering do they require a letter of recommendation from someone. It asked for one, but I ended up uploading my resume in place of that because I didn't have one at the moment. If one is needed I got a couple of guys and a gal I can get one from. Currently i'm at about 410, give a couple of more hours after the past couple of days. CFI CFII and MEI, and I've been instructing for a couple of months.

If any of you need a Crashpad in Memphis, I have rooms available in a 4 bedroom Crashpad. I have private rooms, or shared rooms available. Wi-fi, directv, washer dryer etc in a fully furnished pad. Crashpad is 15 minutes to the airport with little to no traffic, and everything really close by.

What is the chance of getting a Dallas slot? I am local to DFW and this would be a great opportunity for me. Currently sitting at just over 800tt 10me, 75ifr, 400xc 75night xc.. SeaPort has really peaked my interest...

As far as I understand, they are not basing any pilots in Dallas (they do fly there). Bases are Memphis, Portland, San Diego, and Juneau.
Rounders, I sent you a PM. All others with crash pads, I would be very interested in hearing from you about any openings. Thanks!
