My friend who is a captain for them, based out of athens, says the same thing (although Athens is an incredible town). I just threw it out there because in these trying times, if you want to fly for a living (or lack there of) any opportunity is worth pursuing.

Phoenix Air Mil Ops
Phoenix Air guys:
If you're hired at Phoenix Air, are you put into a certain division of the company or do you float around wherever you're needed?
I'm especially interested in Phoenix Air's military applications, be it G-I or Lear. G-I would make the most sense as I have a decent amount of turboprop time. Any insight as to how the schedules work for the mil division?
I'm hoping to swing by VPC one of these days to drop off my resume/cover letter in person.

You have to be persistent!
I have a friend of mine who left for Lear school with Phoenix yesterday (2/14/2010). He said that the key was persistence and internal rec. Unfortunately, that was the only position they had available for the time being.

They seem to move fast - I interviewed Wednesday at 2PM, they sent me to get a drug test done before any offer and at 4:30 I had a note offering the job. This was the second interview I've done and I've been very persistent about pursuing each opening. I'm seriously looking forward to flying again!

Is USPilot normally where jobs are posted for PHX air? I have a friend who is LR35 SIC and Part 135 current and has some friends with connections in PHX air trying to help, not sure if he knows anyone internal or not. Just wondering, will take any insight.
