You probably wouldn't get past security. I don't know if the guard will take your resume.

Ok, I'll just keep updating the resume. Do you know about how many planes they have over there?

hray, do you have an ATP??? I have been told many times through my 2 years of applying, that while it isn't a posted requirement, it is required. Apparently they have very few positions to send a guy to without an ATP, so they just don't bring any on board.

And before anyone jumps on here and says they know a guy who is flying there with only a Commercial, I am only relaying what I have been told by at least 3 people who are directly involved in the hiring process.

Presidential requires prior OCONUS experience. Without that, you won't get hired.

OCONUS isn't required... neither is time in what your hired into. They both help but there has been lots of people hired in the last 6 months without them.

Is it a requirement to be qualified in the aircraft that any of these organization fly? In other-words, does a 5900 hr C-130 guy stand a chance to get hired by L3, Aveng, Presidential, etc.. Just asking and thanks for the help. I do have an active security clearance which should help.

I know guys hired (L3 and Avenge specifically) that were hired without being qualified on the type that they are currently flying for those companies; so I think you would have a shot.
Good luck.

You should have no worries getting hired...I'm assuming you have a bit of King Air C-90 time...(T-44) from your student days. It wont hurt putting that down.

I have an ATP as well as a Dash8 type rating, but no OCONUS experience. I'm applying to everyone that I know is flying over there. Hopefully I will hear something from someone soon???
