According to one of the other forums, they've taken delivery of two aircraft.

Also, it should be noted that the pilot jobs are not just flying the airplane. You're also going to be the passengers' customer service agent/concierge. So yeah, there should be more pay for that!

You just describe most modern piloting jobs. I can guarantee you if a pilot's customer service skills are nonexistent you will not be successful in the job regardless how well you fly. I figured that tidbit out working for a cargo airline.

The word on the street in Northern California is that they now have 3 planes are still aren't operating. They are all used, high hour PC-12s and it could be a long time before they actually begin operations, if ever.

Keep in mind, this isn't first hand information. This is from a part 135 company that shares their aircraft. There are several PC-12 operations up here that split PC-12s.

I understand that one plane was spotted at an autopilot shop at KSAC just this past week...

Yes, all of the PC-12s are getting new Garmin 625 GPS.
22 pilots were hired and put through indoc class last week. Two are already at Flight Safety for training, the rest will follow over the next 8 weeks. The GOM has been approved and we are doing airplane conformity and base inspections now. I believe we are looking to launch in June.

Surf Air has a good chance considering its not a airline. More power to them!

Hope you guys do not run into the seaport issue of having pc12s time out on the airframe life for 135.
