I was curious about this too...Also, any talk of a better schedule than the 6/3 in the future?

There are always rumors about the 6/3 changing, if they don't this place may become a King Air training ground. As for longevity, nobody has been here for a year yet.

I'm pretty sure domiciles right now are TEB, VNY, and PBI. Anyone know if they issue phones to pilots?

No they don't issue phones but will pay your phone bill.

That's cool!
Who wants to carry around two phones anyway?

Any updates? I am very interested, specifically in info about a possible Texas base. How long are the work days? All day in the plane or hurry up and wait, grab lunch and wait for pax type deal? Does that 12 month contract apply even if one were to have a current type?
I'm located in Jersey, and fly charters.

Thank you in advance.

Hurry up and wait would be a serious understatement. The contract would apply, others have came here that had the type and had to sign the contract. You almost always do a 12-13 hours day. And the 6/3 is the most horrible schedule EVER.

That schedule indicates a serious lack of consideration for their crews. Money might be ok but you will kill yourself flying it.

Gama is losing at least one pilot per week. Some weeks it is 3 or 4 due to the 6/3 schedule and this crazy base concept. One of two things will happen. Wheels Up management will pressure Gama to make changes or they will take their business to another 135. Gama was not their first choice.
