Believe me, of all people here, you're not the one to listen too from what I've read.
Now that's what I call networking.......sh!tting all over someone who works at the place you are applying to.

Hey Bunk, I used to be an L-3 guy too, and I'm doing the Gama/WUP thing now. There's a couple of us here. Overall it's a much better lifestyle, and it's not point A to point A flying.

There's a lot of young guys here with a few old timers, but not much in the middle. You will constantly get questioned about why you're here though. Day 1 of IOE I was questioned on why I was here and it hasn't stopped since.

The interview consisted of BSing with the fleet mgr for a little while (no tech or TMAAT questions)and the easiest sim profile Ive ever seen. Straight out departure, 2 steep turns, vectors to ILS, missed approach straight out to an alt and stopped before holding.

Good info, thanks. I ask myself that everyday

Don't care about your credentials, experience, who you are, etc. I see how you post, best to keep quiet, believe me, nobody cares.

No problem. Just calm down old timer!
Didn't post anything about my credentials, experience, etc.
Not exactly sure where that was coming from?
Like I said before, this site is about posting to give personal experiences to help one another out. Sure a guy applying to a job and messing it up (delta) wouldn't understand that. Whether it's a positive post or not, it's feedback from people who are actually here. Even Locke, who is a fellow L3 guy tried to tell about his experience. But, come on over no see for yourself. Best of luck big guy.
From now on, I'll post unicorns and happy faces just for you.

How do the bases work? Do you need to be awarded a base or is it more like a gateway city? I live near KSEA, what are the chances of getting a Captain slot in Seattle with 5900 TT, 5400 jet, 1100 PIC. Currently a part 135 jet captain.

Thanks!

They are opening bases in the northwest.
You'll be awarded Seattle and you'll most likely get left seat in the jet.
Just explain your situation and they'll take good care of you.
Make sure you send your stuff in asap because there are lot of people
trying to get in and nobody is leaving. It's an awesome place to work and a lot of people are planning on being here for the long haul. Have fun!!!

Cheers!
