That's what I was thinking.

We have regional captains that wanted to be home more , regional FOs too. I got in with 500 hours and got upgraded within 6 months . So not a bad gig, can I get into American , United or delta from here ? Probably not , but good pay, also turbine PIC might possibly give me a chance to get into frontier , virgin , or allegiant, maybe not , but people are happy here regardless .

Don't come hoping you will get into United , come to enjoy the company , and the job. And because you want to be here .
Well said.

It doesnt matter , That's not the point of this thread .

Yes they will hire direct entry captains , must meet IFR 135 mins , and they want you to have some turbine experience , if none they will make you a first officer for a couple of months . And than upgrade you .

The latest is :

LAX PHX DEN DFW ATL bases

ABQ base is closing , the flying is not affected , everything stays the same, except where the pilots live . The pilots there dos get relocation packages.

King Air 350 will be coming online in the first quarter , and will initially go out of DEN.

There are a few new cities from Denver , which will start next month hopefully.

Sorry for the thread drift. That sounds great. Thanks for the new info.

Thanks, the addition of the king air really interests me, since I have lots of time on that machine. 🙂

I saw in the earlier postings that CASS was in the works. Do you have CASS? Is PHX a tough base to get? Thanks!

Any details on how they'll be staffing that King Air, or how they're selecting for it?

Plans to get any more of them?

I'm interested too in f/o positions. How many pilot do you need to crew a King Air?

CASS is all done , with the exception it has to be approved by the FAA , maybe a couple more months , or DO is working hard on this , we all want it bad .

For the meantime we still can jumpseat cabin only on southwest and virgin America .

The king airs went somewhat senior on seniority at the Denver base , I know one specific captain that was one number away from holding a spot in it .

As far as FO , I'm actually not sure , they may or may not need anyone in it , but it's worth applying and asking if you want it , we will see more come in the future , just a matter of time .
