I think what Ernie is saying is that the jet has the advantage of an APU for A/C on the ground. A power cart won't help cool a King Air. The only ground support equipment that would help is external air. Hangaring can be the right answer.

After the last flight of the day, Crew scheduling gives you your time off and time to report the next day. They will not allow you to be scheduled for more than 14 hrs on duty and also they make sure you have 10 hrs off duty. Many times the off duty time is 12-14 hrs.

Agreed. Also I'd describe the training as more akin to airline than any 135 I've experienced. You go to sim once very 6 months and there's an annual recurrent at HQ. One of my complaints about other 135 operators I've worked for is training was a joke. Very impressed thus far with the Gama approach.

IOE is definitely taken seriously. You can plan on getting 3 8-day tours with an instructor before getting set free. If you are a provisional captain then it will be one more tour with a check airman to complete your line check.
