Anybody know when they'll publish the June schedule? Thinking of trying to hitch a ride from DFW to Carlsbad NM and back.
The first post on this thread mentioned ZED/ID90 agreements, but now that I look I don't see them on the list on MyIDTravel.

No - our May pilot schedules just came out and I don't see any change to the timetables. The June schedules for pilots come out May 20, I wouldn't be surprised if it took them that long to sort out what they're doing in June but we'll see.

We have an open jumpseat agreement, so whatever the schedule ends up being, you can hop on with short notice assuming there are seats. The only pain right now is, as you said, not knowing what the schedule will be in June yet. I've encountered passengers wanting to book in advance for a while now and we've all been waiting on the June thing, so kind of sucks for everyone involved.

That's good info about the jumpseat, but would need to buy an ID90 for my kiddo. No real hurry since I don't get my June schedule until May 9th. Looks like you guys aren't on our pass travel page, so maybe we don't have an agreement.

In regards to the training contract, it's really not that out of the question for a small 135 company with a shoestring budget to ask for a commitment out of a pilot that they train. Sure, a large airline can get away with no contract because they don't have to do it. There is no real shortage of pilots to replace them. Imagine being a smaller company, hiring somebody and training them only to have that person leave the second they find another job. The cost of acquiring a new employee is a very expensive ordeal, especially where a type rating is involved. While I will agree that a full year contract is a bit much for a PC12, 6 months would be more practical, a contract is totally understandable. Don't let signing a contract scare you away from working for a company.
