Street Captains are sought after at BTQ. If you have Part 135 Captain minimums or above, you’ll get a quick interview. And, if you live in a base that needs staffing, or are willing to move and talk halfway intelligently in your interview, you’ll have an offer. Not direct to King Air, that is seniority based and a long line. PC12 is a great airplane to fly.
Most all bases have overnights, but they are only one night away from home. It’s a pretty decent schedule for NOT commuting. There’s a lot of information in the BTQ threads if you look back.
What are your qualifications?

Yes they hire street captains, probably not to the king air, but as a street captain you will be in master seniority order just like any other airline, so, you will have FOs who may upgrade and be senior to you. However i am seeing that a lot of the FOs hit just enough hours to bolt and they are gone
if you come in as a street captain, there is a good chance you will be reserve mostly for at least a couple of months. You may cover Boston one week, Atlanta the next, Los Angeles the next and get a trip or two in your home base scattered in there.
talking to FOs - the number one and number two reason they say they will refuse an upgrade is because (1) they dont want to be running all over the country to cover staffing and (2) they dont want to enter into another training contract when they can just leave and get a regional bonus and move on with their career.
The PC-12 is a fun bird. i have had a good time so far, if i had it to do over i may have said no to a training contract because that kinda sticks you. but i came to boutique because supposedly they could get you any base and you would get a lot of time at home... so far the none of the reasons i came here have panned out, but eventually they will i think
just make a smart decision, and think about it. you will probably get Pittsburgh or Boston pretty easily
