This is something that any applicant considering Piedmont should take note of. That's a very concerning statistic for someone about to be at the bottom of the seniority list.
Not only can you get better pay, better QoL, and fly better equipment at other regionals, other regionals are growing and plan to continue. That's free seniority. With how far Piedmont has fallen behind the pack now, there might not be a lot of people behind you to push you up in relative seniority. And Piedmont reaffirmed today that they don't have an intention of growing. They're going to start hiring just to replace attrition.
Remember kids, when more people leave from the bottom of the list than leave from the top of it, seniority goes backwards.
And further, if we can't grow and hit the next threshold, our flow rate won't increase.

A TA bringing Endeavor pay/QOL items would have positioned PDT for a large amount of growth supporting managements goal of 100+ aircraft and 1500 pilots.
With the garbage TA the union leadership accepted and sent to the pilot group for a vote there’s a possibility PDT will end up shrinking (recently a goal of 20 NH pilots brought a net gain of 6 to the pilot group as attrition picked up after the TA came out) long term as ACMIs and LCC pay increases pull Captains away from the flow in addition to OTS legacy hiring and FOs who could stay to upgrade to CA go to other better paying regionals to sit in the left seat or to well paying airlines as FOs.
The lost decade concept that regionals only have to stay competitive with other regionals to keep talent because no higher tier airlines were hiring has been overtaken by events. Regionals now compete with ACMIs (Omni and Kalitta etc. paying $107-110/hr first year), LCCs (Spirit, JetBlue Allegant etc. paying $96- 117/hr second year) to retain Captain qualified talent... $65/hr @ year three on the Captain side of the aircraft isn’t going to cut it anymore. Anyone leaving will make more in their second year than they would staying to be a 12 year captain @$93/hr... their QOL will be better than 4-6 on 2 off and 11 days off a months also.

Guess is either a DCA base is coming with the 200-250 pilots left over or the Union is giving the company PBS and that 250 will be taken care of through pilot attrition and reduced hiring.

500 pilots is unrealistic even by PBS standards, that’s under 10 per airplane.

The 15 TSA aircraft have already been announced they’re coming to envoy. No new base announcement, probably just fly through.
There’s a lot more ramp space about to open up at LGA with some new gates in Oct.

Just cause y’all are technically getting the TSA airplanes doesn’t mean they won’t transfer 15 other ERJ’s to us for DCA.

Isom stated in a townhall meeting on 5/8 that Envoy will be a 200 plane fleet, PSA 150, and PDT “about 60”. You guys are just about there aren’t you? Besides, does it really make sense to do bridge/conformity checks on the TSA birds and at the same time send 15 planes to you which need to go through your conformity as well? I though AAG was watching spending?
